LOWRI AC AGNES FERCH EVAN
Yn Sir Gaernarfon yn 1622, cyhuddwyd Lowri ac Agnes Ferch Evan, ynghyd â’i brawd Rhydderch ap Evan, o reibio Margaret Hughes o Lanbedrog nes iddi farw. Cyhuddwyd y tri o achosi i Mary Hughes, hefyd o Lanbedrog, golli defnydd o’i choesau a’i braich chwith, a’i gallu i siarad.
Er ei fod yn bosib mai anghytuno rhwng dau deulu oedd y tu ôl i’r achos, cafwyd y tri yn euog, a chrogwyd Agnes, Lowri a Rhydderch.

LOWRI AND AGNES FERCH EVAN
In Caernarvonshire in 1622, Lowri and Agnes Ferch Evan, as well as their brother Rhydderch ap Evan, were accused of cursing Margaret Hughes from Llanbedrog until she died. All three were also accused of causing Mary Hughes, also of Llanbedrog, to lose the use of her legs and left arm, as well as her ability to talk.
Although it is possible that this was caused by an argument between the two families, all three siblings were found guilty, and were hung.
